DRAWING EARTH, PEOPLE, AND CONFLICT MEDIA COURSE
The overall research is focused on Earth, people, and conflict over the years. The course was set up on a weekly schedule with new topics covered each week. This covered research from when Earth was formed into today’s conflicts and environmental issues. The topics were covered in scale , in the beginning it was the Earth and the Universe’s entirety, but topics slowly became narrowed down to personal human scaled conlficts, which then relfected back on the rest of the worls. The research is also in drawing representation. The course was focused on new ways of thinking and expression in drawings.It challenged us as achitects to use architectural drawings in a new way and how can they be manipulated to inform and represent broader issues beyond architectural dilemmas.
