Take advantage of our excellent rail service with both of the Class A railroads. Our Modesto facility features daily connections to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Paci c lines via the Modesto and Empire Traction Company. Plus, our Patterson facility o ers frozen rail via the Union Paci c Railroad as well.

Sierra Pacific Express is here to solve your trucking and logistics need for Northern California and beyond! Headed by Dave Cultrera and Jeff Lawson, you have access to over 65 years combined experience in complete freight programs, pooling, and customer experience. For deliveries around the state and greater west coast region, Sierra Pacific Express can set up customized programs for single or scheduled service.
This quarter, we are excited to highlight and feature our resident party planner, Halloween enthusiast, and football aficionado… ! Jenifer knows her customers and their programs inside and out making her an incredible wealth of knowledge to support customer visits, system updates, and training new team members. She puts the “party” in third party logistics! We spoke with Christina Rodriguez, Customer Service Manager, to share a few words about Jenifer and her participation in #TeamSPWG as a great leader. Christina says, “Jenifer has close to perfect attendance, is consistent with her work, has taken constructive criticism and continues to grow, to learn. She always checks in with all teams if help is needed. With her, it’s never ‘not my job’, but always ‘how can I help?’. She is a dedicated, hard worker.”

Skate Night is BACK! January 9th 2025
We are so excited to partner with Modesto on Ice by sponsoring their Skate Shed for the 2024-2025 Downtown Modesto Skate Season. We have worked with Modesto on Ice for years and we are excited to announce that we are hosting the annual Sierra Pacific Private Skate Night! Come skate with the SPWG Family on January 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Immediate families are welcome to join and sign up sheets will be at the holiday luncheons on December 12th in Patterson and December 13th in Modesto. Make sure to get your name in ASAP to get your free skate passes to celebrate the New Year together!
