Special issue on Indian foreign policy
Professor Siddharth Mallavarapu guest edited a special issue on the theoretical dimensions of Indian foreign policy for the journal Studies in Indian Politics (Sage). The issue includes both national and international contributors. Mr Tejasvi Saxena (a doctoral scholar), Dr. Sruthi Muraleedharan and Dr. Medha, faculty from the Department of International Relations and Governance Studies, are among key contributors to the issue.

“Peaceful Atom” and its Technoscientific Imaginaries in Postcolonial
India
Dr Patil’s project explores the normative and developmental imaginaries of “peaceful atom” in postcolonial India throughout the global nuclear order of the 1950s-60s.

Ms Naisha Khan has been awarded a fully-funded scholarship to pursue the MSc International Relations programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Ms Namita Sharma has been awarded the ICS-HYI Multiyear Doctoral Fellowship. As a part of the fellowship, she will be supported as a visiting scholar in various institutes in China and the Harvard Yenching Institute based at Harvard University from August 2025 to July 2028. The fellowship will involve research and academic exchanges focused on Chinese Studies over the coming three years.
Sporting achievements – Squash Institute of Chinese Studies – Harvard Yenching Institute (ICS-HYI) Multi Year
As a competitive squash player, Khushi is currently ranked 17th in India and 333rd in the world in the women’s category. Over the years, she has achieved a career-high ranking of 8th nationally in the Girls’ Under-19 category and 243rd in the world. She has had the honor of representing Delhi twice at the National Games and at the Khelo India Youth Games. In the past year, she has reached the semifinals of multiple international tournaments across India and secured a runnerup finish at a national-level event in Bangalore.
