ROCK FALLS – The Illinois National Guard 1644th Transportation Company is mobilizing once again – this time to mark the 25th anniversary of their return home from Operation Desert Storm. Many of the unit’s 160 members who were deployed to the Middle East in 1991 plan to gather for a reunion in Rock Falls June 25 and 26. “In 25 years, the majority of us have not even seen our unit members since we returned home,” reunion committee member Larissa Lewis said.
