ello, my name is Angie Hibben and I am the President/CEO of the Oswego Area Chamber of Commerce. Our chamber has been around since 1984 and we are very proud of how we have grown and how we have supported the business community and Oswego! We are around 500 members strong and growing. Our members range from non for profits to the some of the largest corporations in the area and the industries/business types they represent is just as diverse. This is an exciting year for us as we have achieved one of our long term goals of purchasing a building and have a permanent home. In the spring of 2023, the chamber offices will be moving to 25 E Jackson St., just across from Village Green Park and near the Oswego Post office. This is in the downtown district and we will still be participating in downtown activities. We are very excited about this opportunity and will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting/Grand opening in late spring/ early summer of 2023. In the meantime, we are continuing our very

successful New Resident Program, our golf outing, Spirits on the Farm, Fraidycat 5k/8k & Meow Mile and our Hometown Expo among many ribbon cuttings, Coffee with the Chamber and Business after Business activities. I just talked with a new resident the other day that due to her husbands job has lived in many communities and she was so excited out this New Resident box. She said in all the communities they have lived in they have NEVER received anything like this and they can’t wait to get involved in the Oswego community. Many of our businesses have received calls, website hits and business due to putting their information in these boxes. Call the office today to find out more. As always, I would encourage you, as a business owner to join the Oswego Area Chamber. It is a great way to get involved in your community, learn more about other liked minded business owners/managers.
