Overview
EMI6300Plus high quality professional, cost-effective platform DVB-S/S2/S2X Multi-standard modulator with H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) SD/HD Encoder is Dibsys’s all-in-one devices which integrate encoding, multiplexing and modulation to convert Vedio/Audio signals into DVB-S/S2/S2X RF output. It adopts inner drawer-type structural design which greatly facilitates the change of encoding modules (HD/CVBS/SDI/YPbPr/…) as needed, with a fully integrated MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC High Definition and Standard Definition in a 1-RU unit. To meet customers’ various requirements, EMI6300Plus is also equipped with 1 ASI input for re-mux, and output with ASI port and 1 RF port.
The signals source could be from satellite receivers, closed-circuit television cameras, Blue-ray players, and antenna etc. With its various inputs available and special modulation index, EMI6300Plus series encoder modulators are especially adequate for inserting DVB-S/S2/S2X signal in the cable system to add programs in the DVB-S/S2/S2X TVs or STBs.
DVB-S2X is the next generation satellite transmission standard which is an extended version of its well-established predecessor DVB-S2. The new specification allows for spectral efficiency gains of up to 50% by offering lower roll-off factors, higher modulations and a finer code rate granularity compared to DVB-S2.
