For 1-7, I used a variety of typefaces and adjusted them using the pen tool to create the images I originally drew out. I used the fonts broadway, bodoni, avenir and century. For 8,9 and 10, I created th;ese originally on a grid and used a grid as well in illustrator to draw and shape out my designs. Once I put them into ai, I think 1, 5 and 8 came out really well.

For the first set, I made smaller adjustments to the original idea by spacing the two letters more so it is more scalable. I also tried an oblique version of the font with the same idea as well as making that gap even bigger. I also wanted to see what it would look like as only a stroke. With that I have my original idea in two different forms. One where it is connecting and the other where it does not.
For the second set, since it was made on a grid, I tried a couple different things. Obviously I rounded my original design. I also tried looking at it with only the strokes. I also dissconnected the two forms.

When looking at different fonts I also had to take into consideration what my actual logos look like. While serif fonts are nice, they do not fit with my logos how I would want them to. I have mainly looked at sans serif fonts.
