He is as talented as he is charming, and, as anybody who’s worked with him will tell you, he’s got the right amount of “what it takes” mixed with the right motive. JOHN GRANT BARBOZA June 20 Even though John Grant has been making music for well over 15 years, both as a solo artist and member of Denver-based group The Czars, it’s only now that he’s emerging in a big way. His release from a few years back, Queen of Denmark, was named “Best Album of 2010” by Mojo magazine, and several of the tracks were featured on the soundtrack of the Gay-themed film Weekend.
