3 by Dove Pacific Northwest Ballet Through March 28 Pacific Northwest Ballet, the region’s premiere dance company and one of the most respected ballet troupes in the country, transforms itself into a modern dance group for its current 3 by Dove, a four-part mixed repertory bill featuring three ballets by the late Ulysses Dove and one work by Victor Quijada. Peter Boal, PNB’s artistic director for the past five years, promised to bring Seattle and PNB dance fans the best in modern and classical works when he was appointed head honcho. Silversun Pickups’ Brian Aubert The Grammys, Gay posses, and (almost) getting hitched by Albert Rodriguez SGN A&E Writer Never underestimate the openmindedness of a guy with an electric guitar and unshaven face. If I judged Brian Aubert as a musician solely invested in becoming the next big thing and not giving a rat’s ass about social issues hovering around the Gay community, then I was wrong. The frontman for Southern California’s very hot Silversun Pickups – recent Grammy nominees for Best New Artist – was just as enthusiastic to talk about same-sex marriage as he was about his own wedding day just around the corner. Musically, Aubert is gifted – a singer with a voice that couldn’t possibly belong to anyone else. On a personal level, he’s a simple guy who escapes into great movies instead of researching how many units his band’s latest album (Swoon) has sold, and in regards
