in Mamma Mia!

The music is infectious, light bubble gum, but most of all it’s fun. That’s probably why Mamma Mia! has not only been one of the first major “jukebox musicals,” but also arguably the most fa-

by Aiden Klein SGN A&E Writer Dirty Pop April 5 Neighbours Seattle, mark your calendars! On April 5, the infamous DJ Drew G brings his successful national dance party tour, Dirty Pop, to Neighbors Seattle (1509 Broadway). For eight years, Drew G, one of the nation’s most sought-after DJs, has brought the party to cities like Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles. DJ Drew G announced to Seattle Gay News that Dirty Pop is scheduled for Thursday nights at Neighbours Seattle from now on. Not only is DJ Drew G hot (he spins with his shirt off, and sometimes in just underwear), he boasts an impressive resume, remixing for artists such as Britney Spears, Deborah Cox, P!nk, and the late Whitney Houston. of Being Flynn

In Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Emily Blunt plays Harriet Chetwode-Talbot, who facilitates Dr. Fred Jones (Ewan McGregor’s) efforts to bring a Yemeni sheikh’s (Amr Waked) fly-fishing dream to the desert. Blunt gets a meaty role in this

romantic comedy-drama. From Harriet’s crisis moments when she learns her boyfriend Robert (Tom Mison) goes missing in war, to her budding relationship with Fred, and her efforts to get salmon swimming upstream, Blunt makes her character engaging. She spoke with Seattle see blunt page 28
