RuPaul has done it again. On January 24, America’s (and perhaps the world’s) most famous drag superstar debuted the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and honey, this is going to be one hell
of a ride! The show – Logo’s most successful – is ridiculously entertaining and incredibly addictive. For those of you not in the know, RuPaul’s Drag Race is the ultimate drag queen competition. Playing a dual role, RuPaul reigns supreme in all judging and eliminations,
while RuPaul, the man, helps guide the contestants as they prepare for each challenge. Contestants include the nation’s most outrageous, cutting-edge, talented, and stunningly gorgeous drag queens, all fighting for the title (and tiara) as top drag queen of the land. Each week, through the trials and tribulations of glam, glitter, and showstopping performances, one drag queen is eliminated until the next superstar drag queen of America is named. This season, RuPaul has upped the ante; America’s next drag superstar will receive the

P!nk’s new video tackles bullying and suicide you’re nothing / You’re fucking perfect to me.” The images are graphic, starting off with a sex scene with a woman who, after making love, begins to recall images from her childhood as she stares at a teddy bear she’s had since she was a little girl. The video then moves onto images of a girl who is bullied in many different ways (at school, as the mall, etc.) and ultimately attempts suicide by etching “PERFECT” into her arms. Following the words of the song, she realizes she is worth living for and begins to shape her image to eventually become an artist and fall in love. She passes down the teddy bear to her own daughter by the end of the powerful music video. With lyrics such as “Done looksee P!nk page 28

These days, the entertainment world is abuzz with Gay this and Gay that. Ricky Martin admits he’s Gay. Elton John has a baby. Lady Gaga helped to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and Glee has all but taken over TV Land. Gaystream, it would seem, has become Mainstream. Just as 2011 promises to be the Year of the Gay entertainer, P!nk is making a statement in her latest music video. The megastar, who is riding high on hit singles from her greatest hits collection, released her music video for “F**kin’ Perfect” last week, which offers a graphic reminder that bullying comes in many forms and suicide is never the answer. In the provocative four-minute video, pop music’s bad girl sings, “Pretty, pretty please, don’t you ever, ever feel like you’re less than fucking perfect/ Pretty, pretty please, if you ever, ever feel like
