He continued to work remotely from his home and appeared at a King County Council meeting held online the same week. Upthegrove has served the 5th District since 2014 and is one of two openly Gay members on the council.

asks the Seattle Police Department to treat psilocybin substance-related issues as its lowest priority. Councilmember Andrew Lewis sponsored the resolution. He reminded his fellow city council members that these sub-

proposal includes funding to hire 125 new officers, which would create a net gain of 35, assuming 90 more officers depart by the end of this year. What does this new budget mean for the vibrant LGBTQ+ community in Seattle?
