Seattle Men’s Chorus to introduce new a cappella vocal ensemble at “Jingle All the Way” holiday concert SEATTLE MEN’S CHORUS “JINGLE ALL THE WAY” HOLIDAY CONCERT RIALTO THEATER (Tacoma) December 8 @ 3pm & 7:30pm BENAROYA HALL (Seattle) December 9-23 (details below) EVERETT CIVIC AUDITORIUM December 15 @ 7:30pm Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) rings in the holiday season with the high-spirited “Jingle All the Way” from December 9-23 at Benaroya Hall. For the first time since 2004, Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus will debut a new vocal ensemble. The Supertonics will share their tight-harmony a cappella sound for the very first time this December while sharing the stage with SMC. “Jingle All the Way” is a joyful celebration that brings together beloved carols, fresh takes on holiday classics, and showstopping dazzlers. Featuring “Silver Bells,” “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and many more moments of pure holiday joy. Artistic Director Paul Caldwell confirms, “There will be bells, bells and more bells!” The Supertonics is directed by Nikki Blackmer. They will serve as musical

ambassadors for the choruses, perform at community events, and connect with other LGBTQ organizations and nonprofits. For close to four decades SMC has presented their unique blend of song, dance,
and campy comedy to the Northwest; they have solidified their role as Seattle’s biggest holiday extravaganza. As in years past, SMC will also present concerts in Tacoma and Everett.
The two Tacoma concerts will be held Saturday, December 8 at 3pm and 7:30pm at the Rialto Theater (310 S 9th St., Tacoma). Tacoma concert tickets are $35$55 and are available through the Tacoma Arts Live box office at (253) 591-5894 or at tacomaartslive.org. The six Seattle concerts will be held Sunday, December 9 at 7:30pm (this concert includes certified ASL interpretation); Sunday, December 16 at 8pm; Thursday, December 20 at 7:30pm; Friday, December 21 at 7:30pm; and Saturday, December 23 at 2pm and 7:30pm at Benaroya Hall (S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium) (3rd Ave. between University St. and Union St., downtown Seattle). Seattle concert tickets are $25-$85 and are available through the Seattle Choruses box office at (206) 388-1500 (Mon-Fri, 11am-6pm) or at seattlechoruses.org. The one Everett concert will be held Saturday, December 15 at 7:30pm at the Everett Civic Auditorium (2415 Colby Ave., Everett). Everett concert tickets are $25-$55 and are available through the Seattle Choruses box office at (206) 388-1500 (Mon-Fri, 11am-6pm) or at seattlechoruses.org.
