4th annual LUSIO festival to light up 40 acres of Volunteer Park Saturday night, August 3
“We feel we have captured the tension, the drama, and the triumph of the American LGBTQ military experience,” said Emery Wager, co-author of Glorious. The musical theatre drama Glorious depicts the lives of an experimental all-Gay US military unit established in response to
the controversial “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. This unit embarks on a journey of leadership and self-understanding, as they forge the bonds of friendship and teamwork in the context of military mission and purpose.
