Three Dollar Bill Cinema (TDBC) is excited to announce that Ben McCarthy has been selected as their new Executive Director. Ben will officially begin his role as Executive Director on May 15th, and TDBC looks forward to helping him transition into his leadership duties in the coming weeks.

McCarthy’s employment comes after an extensive search and reflects the TDBC’s commitment to bring a skilled leader who is impassioned in the organization’s mission. “Going through that extensive search made it all the more rewarding when we

by Sara Michelle Fetters SGN A&E Writer RBG Now playing I can’t say directors Julie Cohen and Betsy West have made the most cinematic documentary as far as RBG is concerned. A fairly typical and straightforward talking heads piece, this examination of the life and times of

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is still pretty sensational all the same. As aspirational as it is inspirational, the film moves as if it were shot out of a cannon, opening hearts and minds as it analyzes the Justice’s fascinating career in intimate detail. I had the pleasure to touch base with directors Cohen and West about their film earlier this week. Here are some of the highlights from our all-too-brief conversation:
