Two anniversaries bookend 2018-2019 season for Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus

The Seattle Women’s Chorus (SWC) leap into their 15th year of concerts with “Hear Me Roar” in October and the Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) bring the season to a close with “Summer of’ ’69,” a musical commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. In between SMC presents their annual holiday concert “Jingle All the Way” in December and “Believe: The Music of Cher”
in March. In April SWC presents “Legends of Rock.” Special surprise concert guests will be announced in the coming months. SWC expands their outreach to South Puget Sound by adding a new venue in Burien to their concert schedule. In addition a new mixed ensemble group, comprised of

Written by its multi-hyphenated stars, popular musicians, poets and theatrical impresarios Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal, and directed by relative newcomer Carlos López Estrada, this three-day slice of life in today’s Oakland, CA is downright masterful.
