I have good news for Seattle opera lovers and the tech-curious who may have wondered if a contemporary opera about digital wizard and bad-boy Steve Jobs was an idea whose time had come: The [R]evolution of Steve Jobs by composer Mason Bates is a terrific night out – well worth seeing in this super-dramatic new opera. Children’s productions from Thistle Theater and SCT vie with major musicals and some of the most anticipated shows of the year.
Two shows that were presented with the same casts years ago make a much-anticipated return – if you did not see Always… Patsy Cline or Returning the Bones before, both of them are sure to be as marvelous the second time around (although very, very different subjects)! Get your calendars out and start “puzzling!”

SEATTLE MEN’S CHORUS “BELIEVE: THE MUSIC OF CHER” MARION OLIVER MCCAW HALL March 30 @ 8pm March 31 @ 2pm For two performances only, more than 200 singers from Seattle Men’s Chorus (SMC) will bask in six decades of #1 hits. “Believe: The Music of Cher” runs at Seattle’s McCaw Hall (321 Mercer St.) on March 30 at 8pm and March 31 at 2pm. a special appearance by the nation’s premier Cher impersonator Chad Michaels who hair-flipped his way to the championship of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.” As part of the Seattle Choruses’ Youth Engagement Program singers from Washington Middle School will join SMC on stage on Sunday, March 31 to create a multigenerational chorus and premiere a new work.
