WASHINGTON, DC (May 28, 2019) – Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization, responded to news that the Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from the Alliance for Defending
Freedom (ADF) over a 3rd Circuit ruling in Doe v. Boyertown Area School District, meaning that students in that school district will be permitted to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identities.
