NOMINATED AS SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION

by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer President-elect Joe Biden has named Pete Buttigieg to be the Secretary of Transportation. The choice was officially announced December 15. He will be the first out Gay cabinet officer, as well as the youngest ever, at age 38.

Supreme Court rejects challenge to same-sex parents on birth certificates

by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer Bill Barr, the man who combined a government post as attorney general with a self-appointed position as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, is quitting.

Barr went to the White House December 14 to turn in his letter of resignation. “As per letter, Bill will be leaving just before Christmas to spend the holidays with his family,” Trump later tweeted.
