SCOTUS hears LGBT discrimination cases

by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer Seattle officials say local data contradicts assertions by the Trump administration that rainbow crosswalks are unsafe, and the ones that were installed here will remain in place.

Last week the city of Ames, Iowa, revealed it had received a letter from the Federal Highway Administration threatening to cut off federal money for roads unless its rainbow crosswalk – installed to mark Pride this year – was removed.

gia and Altitude Express v. Zarda – involve men who were fired after their employers discovered they were Gay. The third – RG & GR Harris Funeral Homes v. EEOC – centers on a Trans woman who was fired when she transitioned at work.
