by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer A municipal court employee in Brick Township, New Jersey, has filed an employment discrimination lawsuit charging that court officials allowed a racist and homophobic atmosphere to develop in her workplace.

Sarah Fearon said in her court filing that co-workers regularly made homophobic remarks about fellow employees and members of the general public. According to her lawsuit, filed January 10 in the Ocean County Superior Court,

COLUMBUS, OH (January 16, 2019) – Today, Lambda Legal, the ACLU, and the ACLU of Ohio filed a motion for summary judgment in the Southern District of Ohio, asking the court to strike down the state’s policy prohibiting transgender people from correcting the gender marker on their birth certificates.
