SEATTLE – Tina Podlodowski, chair of the Washington State Democratic Party, issued the following statement Aug. 11 regarding former Vice President Joe Biden’s selection of U.S. Sen. Cops settle with ACLU Promise not to target journalists, use indiscriminate force

by Mike Andrew SGN Staff Writer The City of Seattle has agreed that police should not target journalists covering protests and should not use indiscriminate force against protestors.
The agreement came in an August 10 settlement with the ACLU and attorneys representing journalists and others who were harmed by police violence and threats of violence.

The assembled group were participants of the “Every Day March” (EDM) and had gathered at Magnuson Park before caravaning in two long rows of approximately 50 vehicles to her home in the Windermere neighborhood of Seattle. It was unknown if she was home at the time.

Seattle City Council overrides Durkan veto
