Justin Copper is an artist/writer who has already started his own journey. He was born in Greensboro NC and is currently living. Growing up, he had always found joy in coloring pictures and drawing. He would soon begin writing stories as he grew more, finally settling on it during High School. He considers himself both a writer and artist.
As an artist, Justin usually draws stick figures or drawings that are more detailed. He soon learns, he has a skill in writing and begins writing short stories. This would convince Justin to try and make a graphic novel that would be based on a novel he is writing. Justin primarily uses pencil and paper for sketching. But he uses a computer and a drawing tablet to have them clean and colored.
Justin's work is intended to bring people in on storytelling. If it wasn’t connected to his story, his art would have more philosophical things like understanding oneself or inner conflict and struggle. If he chooses the graphic design route, he would create his own drawings, which include logos and labels. He also wants to make graphic drawings of his characters.
His inspiration was always the things he watched and read. Justin loves stories like Percy Jackson and the superhero movie Iron Man. He loves watching anime and reading manga. This is what mainly inspired him to make a graphic novel.
