CONSTRUCTION

As buildings, infrastructures and construction processes become more complex, integrated with cutting-edge technologies and intelligent building systems, it is necessary for construction professionals to possess highly technical, analytical and managerial knowledge and skill sets. The construction discipline is a blend of building science with an understanding of engineering, architecture, and design knowledge and project management skills. Construction professionals are responsible for the planning, coordination and supervision of construction projects from blueprints to occupancy. Effective communication, problem-solving, collaboration and excellent leadership skills are key attributes of the profession.
