Family Business Australia and New Zealand

he SSAA is excited to announce to members an alliance has been established with Family Business Australia and Family Business New Zealand (FBA/FBNZ) – the association that for over 21 years has been successfully helping family businesses along the path to success. The alliance will see collaboration between the two associations to bring our members an expanded range of services for family owned businesses, which make up approximately 85% of our membership. All SSAA family businesses will be entitled to: l Use the FBA/FBNZ Associate logo (depending on your location). l Use the Family Owned Australian or New Zealand Business emblem to promote to your market that you are a family business (There are unique logos for Australia and New Zealand). l Education programs designed to help you succeed as a family business – including the Family Business Essentials Workshop.
l Access to over 300 Accredited Business Advisors who can help you with specific family business issues as they arise. l Free attendance to FBA Family Business Insider events – getting a sneak peek into the operations of other successful family businesses. l Access to the Family Business Diagnostic Tool to help you identify those areas of your business which need some focus. l Access to FBA’s Resource Centre with blogs, articles and research reports which may give you a fresh perspective on your family business. l Plus lots more …

As an example your SSAA membership will allow one person from your business to attend, at no cost. Subsequent attendees will be charged a very reasonable rate of $95. This is great value for a four hour workshop! Below are the dates for the first round for next year to pencil in your diaries. As more dates for 2020 are finalised they will be placed on the SSAA website and FBA’s website. l
HOW WILL IT WORK? All SSAA Members received a joint communication from the FBA and the SSAA providing links to the FBA Associate logo and the FBA emblem.
