Q: Hi Samantha! For those meeting you for the first time, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hey! I’m Samantha I’m 34, a writer, speaker, and proud advocate for emotional well-being. I live between New York and Portland with my rescue dog, Luna Becoming Her is my heart project a love letter to every woman who’s ever felt like she had to be “perfect” just to be “enough.
Q: Your message really resonates. What inspired you to write Becoming Her?
Honestly, exhaustion I spent years chasing an impossible standard always busy, always smiling, always “fine.” One day I realized: life isn’t about doing it all. It’s about doing what matters, in a way that feels true I wanted to write the book I wished someone had given me years ago.
Q: Your style feels very real and accessible. Where does that come from?
I believe healing should feel human, not clinical or perfect. Life is messy, feelings are messy and that’s beautiful I wanted every page to feel like a conversation with a friend who sees you, no filters needed.

Q: What’s one small ritual that helps you reconnect with yourself?
Lighting a candle, putting my phone away, and journaling even just for five minutes It’s a reset that reminds me I’m allowed to just be.
Q: When you’re feeling overwhelmed, what’s one thing you do to ground yourself?
I take a few deep breaths, step outside if I can, and remind myself that it’s okay to pause. Even a moment of stillness can shift everything
Q: And finally, what’s one piece of advice you’d give to anyone reading your book right now? You’re not behind. You’re not broken. Growth isn’t a race, it’s a journey and you’re already on it, even when it feels slow. Rest is not quitting Rest is essential
