El prestigioso estudio de Arquitectos integrado por Jacques Herzog y Pierre de Meuron ha diseñado el nuevo complejo ubicado en el madrileño barrio de las Tablas, al norte de la capital. Comprende una superficie total de unos 100.000 m² y alberga 6.500 puestos de trabajo con alta flexibilidad de espacios, total liquidez y eficiencia inmobiliaria, y bajo coste de mantenimiento. El complejo incorpora las mejores técnicas constructivas y tecnológicas, con pleno compromiso con el medio ambiente. Supone para la entidad una evolución hacia “nuevas formas de trabajo”. La mayor parte de su extensión, de forma rectangular está cubierta por edificios de tres alturas a excepción del principal, con forma de disco y 23 plantas de altura. La ejecución de la estructura se caracteriza por las grandes luces y la utilización de elementos pretensados. The prestigious study of Architects integrated by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron has designed the new complex located in the Madrid district of Las Tablas, north of the capital. It comprises a total area of about 100,000 m² and 6,500 jobs with high flexibility of spaces, total liquidity and real estate efficiency, and low maintenance costs. The complex incorporates the best construction techniques and technology, with full commitment to the environment. It means an evolution towards new forms of work for the entity. Most of its extension, rectangular in shape, is covered by three-storey buildings with the exception of the main one, in the shape of a disc and 23 stories high.
