Position supervises 48 FT employees and total annual budget of $4.5 M. Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field required. Candidate should posses at least 10 years of progressive responsible experience in law enforcement including management/command level experience of at least five (5) years preferred. DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR: Hot Springs, SD The City of Hot Springs is seeking a Development Coordinator to perform a variety of technical duties related to ensuring compliance with building, zoning and property maintenance ordinances and regulations of the City of Hot Springs, as well as ensuring compliance with the Comprehensive Plan. The four major areas of responsibility of the Development Coordinator include: to serve as the City’s liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission, to serve as the Building Official and Building Inspector, to serve as the Code Compliance Officer and assist the City Administrator with planning projects. Candidate should possess a valid South Dakota Driver’s License or have the ability to obtain one and must also have the ability to obtain IBC Residential Building Inspector Certification within one-year of hire.
