SCOUT is a fast-growing Washington DC-based brand known for dynamic, contemporary bags that mix both style and function using original patterns and versatile designs.

Coast to coast, SCOUT enjoys a large, devoted following and a steady stream of rave reviews from editors. Most recently, our bags have been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Oprah Magazine, and USA Today.

The SCOUT Select program was launched in 2017 to support organizations with volume orders and customized bags that help celebrate, motivate, and say thank you to employees, customers, clients, and many others.

With 40+ years of fashion and trendforecasting experience. Deb has been the start-to-finish creative force behind every SCOUT product and pattern since the brand was born in 2004.

All SCOUT fabrics are lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. All can be customized with your logo, whether you choose a woven label or embroidery (see page 14).

ALL-WEATHER WOVEN

Light but strong (like a tarp), this fabric holds its shape when wet, dries fast, and softens with wear.

POLY CANVAS

Much lighter + softer than traditional canvas—yet just as durable—this fabric lets you over-pack without getting weighed down.

COATED COTTON

Heat-laminated with a waterresistant coating, this soft fabric resists dirt, stains, and moisture.

INSULATED POLY TWILL

Ideal for coolers, this three-layer, foaminsulated fabric includes a food-safe (PVC-free) liner on the inside.

Adding your logo, event tagline, or other image/message is easy! Your bag will be the stand-out they continue to reach for, promoting your brand long after the event is over.

WOVEN LABEL

SCOUT creates a woven label with your logo on it, then sews a label onto each bag. Your logo does not replace the SCOUT logo. Rather, the logos are placed on opposite sides of the product.

HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?

Please submit your inquiry on our SCOUT Select Inquiry form. Please allow 2-3 business days for your custom quote, and note that submitting an inquiry does not guarantee inventory. Inventory is reserved for you upon confirmation of your order and payment submission.

WHAT QUANTITY QUALIFIES FOR A BULK DISCOUNT?

Volume discounts start at 50 pieces. Please note that volume discounts may not be combined with any retail promotions. Retail promotions and free shipping do not apply to SCOUT Select orders.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR DISCOUNTS AND CUSTOMIZATION?

Not all products and patterns on scoutbags.com are eligible for volume discounts and customization. Our SCOUT Classics patterns are typically available for SCOUT Select, and offer a wide range of product, pattern, and price point.

WHAT ARE MY CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS?

We offer both embroidery customization and woven label customization:

For a woven label, we create a polywoven label of your logo and stitch the label onto the bag. For embroidery, we digitize your logo and stitch the logo directly onto the bag.

HOW LONG DOES CUSTOMIZATION TAKE?

This depends on the type of customization. See an outline of timelines below, and please note that production timelines may be longer at certain times of the year due to volume. We will send you production photo for approval 3-5 business days after submitting logo.

WOVEN LABEL: APPROX. 20 BUSINESS DAYS

EMBROIDERY: 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS

WHERE IS MY LOGO PLACED WHEN MY BAG IS CUSTOMIZED?

For customized orders, the SCOUT logo/ label(s) are already on the product. For bags, logo placement is the side opposite the SCOUT label, at the same height as the SCOUT label. For coolers, placement is on the back pocket so as not to perforate the insulation.

CAN I EXPEDITE MY CUSTOMIZED ORDER?

Orders are put into production in the order in which they are received. Our team works diligently to meet in-hand dates as best we can, and expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.

DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING TO INDIVIDUAL RECIPIENTS?

We offer a full-service gifting program in which we ship your products to individual recipients. This program requires an additional packaging fee and shipping costs. Please email us with your request or to learn more.

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER? DO YOU ACCEPT TERMS?

Payment is due in full prior to customization, and will be processed after pre-production proof approval. Payment may be made via credit card or ACH Transfer. Please note we do not extend terms.

CAN I CANCEL, MAKE CHANGES TO, OR RETURN MY ORDER?

All customized orders are put into production after an agreed-upon proof approval and/or embroidery pre-production approval. Once approval is received, we cannot make changes or accept any returns on customized product.
