Earlier this year I was asked to write an article about “How to stay motivated” and for some reason I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. The person who suggested I write the article was having trouble staying motivated in terms of exercise and nutrition in relation to their health and weight loss goals, which tends to happen to people from time to time. I wasn’t sure where or how to start writing about this…some people are always motivated, and some never are. Many others fall somewhere in between. Initially I rolled my eyes and thought “Wow, how can I make this not boring?” The normal things came to mind like setting goals and seeking accountability, then I thought “You’re either motivated or you’re not.
