2018-2019
BERTHA WILSON HONOUR SOCIETY The Bertha Wilson Honour Society was established in 2012 to recognize our extraordinary alumni and showcase their geographic reach and contributions to law and society. The award is named for The Honourable Madam Justice Bertha Wilson (’57) – the first woman appointed to the Ontario Court of Appeal and the first female Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. Each year, one alum from each of the Dalhousie Law Alumni Association’s branches – along with up to three additional alumni nominated by the Bertha Wilson Honour Society Board – are inducted as members of the Society.
