Services and Support Physical Health and Development Adult Weight Management Services
Active Lives & Healthy Weight services offer community weight management and targeted physical activity programmes which run for 12 weeks following an initial assessment upon referral. Early help for families, see web pages for more information (and slides from the May Vision Events) Anyone can refer a child to this service by completing the referral form. This includes Health Visitors, GPs, Medical Consultants, Teachers and Parents DCOs support the health service to make sure they are meeting the needs of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Supplementary support to that from midwives and health visitors. Home visits and groups. Support helpline available daily 9.00am-5.00pm on 01254 772929 (voicemail available outside of these hours)

Targeted support in specific wards (all districts) to encourage families of 5–8-year-olds to make healthier choices. Provide information and pharmacotherapy for anyone who wants to quit smoking (from age 12). Information for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Our team of doctors and nurses provide Sexual Health Services across Blackpool and Lancashire. They deal with a variety of sexual health related conditions, providing testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), including HIV, in line with national guidelines Our Under 25 sexual health services provide contraception and full sexual health testing.
