Revision

Focus that revision on what you didn’t do so well on – not the stuff you already know!

Take past papers to attempt at home.

Revise early, little and often.

Create a revision timetable.

It’s not too late!

Use your Revision Strategies book to ensure your revision is effective – not just reading over notes! Mind maps, flashcards, condensing/summarising, elaborating, etc.

Complete homework. Use online learning platforms.

Attend intervention.

Use the library for a quiet learning space and revision resources.

Wellbeing

Keep a balance. Spend time revising, but socialise and relax too.

Break up revision with food and exercise to make sure you stay energised.

Work to your own pace – everyone is different in how they work.

Looking after yourself

Eat well. Sleep well. Stay positive. Remind yourself how hard you have worked this year.

Celebrate the end of exams and feel proud of what you’ve achieved.

Talk to your friends, teachers, form tutor, progress leader, and exams team.

– Leadership – Diversity – Excellence - Resilience

Find a revision space and style that works for you: silence, background chatter, music with or without lyrics.

Interventions

• So far, there have been 1, 672 attendances at intervention this year!

• Before each exam, there will be a final revision session EITHER after school the day before, or on the day of the exam at 7:30am.

• This timetable will be with you by Friday 2nd May.
