CollectiveWorshipContentandDelivery:
CollectiveworshipatRodbourneCheneyPrimarySchooliscarefullyplannedtosupportour widerreligiouseducationcurriculumandtopromotetheethosandcultureoftheschool.Each week,assembliesarebasedaroundoneofourschoolvaluesandareledprimarilybythe PrincipalandAssistantPrincipal.
Throughourvaluesweexploretraditions,festivalsandeventsfrom arangeofChristianand otherfaithsinadditiontonationalrecognitiondaysforawiderangeoftopics.Theassemblies areplannedbytheHeadTeacher,R.EleadandMusiclead.
Onceaweek,pupilshaveamoreintimateexperienceastheyexplorethethemefortheweek inaclassassemblyledbytheirclassteacher.
Fridayassembliesareacelebrationofwhathasbeenachievedandlearnedduringtheweek andthesecelebrationsaresharedinourweeklybulletintoparents.
RighttoWithdraw:
Weaimforourcollectiveworshiptobeinclusiveofallpupilsandthereis anexpectationthat allpupilswillattend.However,someparents/carersmaywishtowithdrawtheirchildfrom anactoractsofcollectiveworshipforreligiousormoralreasons.Requeststowithdraw shouldbediscussedwiththeHeadTeachertoconsideranyconcernsthatmayneed addressingandtomakealternativearrangements.
