Headteacher’s welcome

I am delighted that you and your child are becoming part of our school community.

At The Kingsway School, we are committed to providing an education that allows your child to be ambitious for their future, articulate about their learning and that helps them to achieve to the best of their potential.

Our values of Opportunity, Achievement, Respect and Compassion underpin all that we do in school and all that we expect of each of our students in our community. We care about providing a learning environment that celebrates and recognises the different starting points and passions of our students and allows each individual to find rich experiences that prepare them for their future.

We want our students to be curious in their learning, about how they can contribute to our local community and how to be socially responsible young people. We seek to ensure our students are compassionate in their understanding of themselves and their own wellbeing and towards others both in and outside of school.

Achievement at school is not only about GCSE results, it is about the lifelong friendships made and the experiences to make mistakes and learn from them in our journey to understanding who we are, our place in the world and how we can contribute to improving it for everyone.

In addition to meeting us at our annual open evening, you can view our prospectus and call or email us to arrange a tour during the school day, to see our vibrant and successful school and students for yourself –and let the journey begin!

I very much look forward to meeting you and your child.
