Libanus Adventurers

At Libanus Primary we believe that our curriculum needs to be holistic and develop the whole child. We believe that residential visits provide our pupils with the opportunities to develop a range of personal and social skills. They also provide pupils with experience of a range of adventurous and cultural activities. All pupils had the opportunity to attend the following residential in 2024;
Year 3 – Cardiff Urdd City Sleepover (1 night)
Year 4 – PGL Liddington(2 nights)
Year 5 – Dolygaer (2 nights)
Year 6 – Llangrannog(2 nights)
Year 3 pupils had the opportunity to visit Cardiff Bay and stay in the Cardiff Urdd Centre in March 2025 for 1 night. Duringthe visittheyenjoyedaboatand walkingtour, bowling and visitedtheSenedd and Techniquest.
Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to visit PGL Liddington in May 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including canoeing, climbing, abseiling, giantswing, zipwire,campfireand problemsolving.
Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to visit Dolygaer in May 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including Gorge Walking, Climbing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Crate Stack,ZipWireand HillWalking.
Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to visit Llangrannog in June 2025. During the visit they had the opportunity to participate in a range of adventurous activities including archery, high and low rope courses, obstacle course skiing,horse riding,trampoline,swimming,go kartingand quadbiking.
