Kingswood Residential Visit: Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 March

Just before the half term we held an exhibition of student art work at Canterbury Primary School. Children and young people from all our satellite classes visited the exhibition and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Many of the displays were interactive and provided opportunities to explore the art works and create something new of their own. There are some photos from the day later in the newsletter.

Many of our Key Stage 3 and 4 students have been working hard on their City & Guilds Maths and English Functional Skills throughout the year and this hard work has really shown in their recent exam results. The high level of passes at Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3 is a result of the exceptional commitment to their studies and we are extremely proud of them. Some of our students are now studying for their Level 1 qualifications and we wish them continued success!

Our Kingswood Residential trip will be taking please from Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th March. We all have our fingers crossed for some good weather! We will be sharing photos and news from the trip away within the next newsletter. Keep your eyes peeled! ☺

Best wishes

We held our first virtual coffee morning before half term, which was attended by parents, the well being team and key staff from the Oak pathway. It was a great opportunity for a chat as well as to talk about school. We will be hold another virtual coffee morning in term 5 and will share more details in due course.

“I would just like to say thank you very much for arranging the virtual coffee morning and to the other members of staff who joined. It was lovely to have the opportunity to meet with other parents and to be able to ask questions and to hear about additional support the school can provide. I hope that you will run more of these 'virtual coffee mornings' in the future.”
