The Environmental Quality of LHA
Unfortunately, we have been observing the school grounds over a number of weeks and we have noticed a steady decline in environmental standard among the school grounds. To be clear chewing gum is a banned substance!!! It has been found in places that you could not even imagine, such as under desks, under chairs, on cupboards, on the floor and on the bin outside. Put your gum in the bin. There are plenty of bins around school so use them!!!! If you are caught chewing this substance in a lesson or in a break or lunch a sanction will be given out and you should clean the whole classroom and make it gumless. (Is that a word???)
An issue is also vandalism. There is a lot of unnecessary damage across the school grounds. Graffiti with whiteboard pens seems to be common across school. If you are caught doing this you will be sanctioned. Equally, we think you should be asked to clean the monstrosity of a mess. Also, the chairs in Science are damaged with extremely inappropriate drawing and logos. Please do not damage any school property. This is our environment, we should look after it!
The bins are right in front of you, so use them!!!!!
BOOM AND BUST
British Politics Insider - The last few years in UK Politics
Preface
We’re living in a changing economic world and a changing political world. It all starts with disaster, the year is 2008 and Britain is about to go bust and the Labour Party is in government
Cameron-Clegg Coalition
The year is 2010, it’s May, and it’s election year. The runners up are Nick Clegg with the Liberal Democrats, David Cameron with the Conservative Party, Gordon Brown with the Labour Party The polls predict a hung parliament and tension within the electoral commission is stressing on counting votes. The results are at it with the Conservative Party at 307 seats, Labour at 258 and the Liberal Democrats at 57 seats
Tension is rising with Britain desperate to form a government and Gordon Brown battling to find an option to keep Labour in government
government This then started the Conservative-Dems Coalition. David Cameron was now the Prime Minister and Nick Clegg was now the Deputy Prime Minister The ambition, to “Secure a better Britain”.
Brexit Vote
Britain has raised many concerns of their place within the European Union (EU) through bureaucracy. Our place within the European Union is tearing apart and David Cameron is left with one choice, referendum (vote)
Best of friends since Oxford and Eton, Boris Johnson and David Cameron have remained strong throughout their political careers David Cameron is desperate to get someone with so much influence like Boris Johnson on #remain, even going as far to offer him a cabinet position But a country's fate within the European Union relies on one girl, Boris Johnson’s daughter
In an interview in 2024, regarding the Brexit vote Boris Johnson revealed that his decision to leave the European Union was influenced by his daughter
Along with the team is Michael Gove who went along with Boris in #leave was recently sacked as Education Secretary and wanted his revenge on David Cameron by putting the fate of a whole country in his hands. The campaign begins by rallies all over the country. Managed by Nigel Farage, a member of the European Parliament, UKIP (UK Independence Party), strives to take Britain out the European Union and will forever influence British Politics..
It’s the Brexit vote day, the returning officer reveals the shocking results which were so direly close to each other.
Back in Downing Street, there’s fear of leaving the European Union. David Cameron resigned the following morning after the result, saying “I don’t believe I am the Captain to stir this ship to its destination” Cameron was finished and the Clegg coalition finished half a year before with a safe majority of the Conservatives. The party was on their own and had to take the hit
Theresa May
A second female Prime Minister emerges from the Downing Street cabinet, Theresa May, who was known for being the Home Secretary She won the battle for the Conservative Party leadership against Michael Gove and was set to be the next Prime Minister.
Britain had 3 years of stability, however, the vote of the century had still not been agreed on with the European Union. It’s 2018, the newly appointed Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson resigns from Theresa’s cabinet and criticises her and the government. Theresa has a vote of no confidence after 3 failed Brexit votes Jeremy Corbyn, Labour leader, a proud socialist calls for Theresa May to resign multiple times. It happens, on the 24th May 2019, she resigns, leaving behind what could be a soft Brexit.
Boris Johnson
ormer Mayor of London, former Foreign Secretary and a journalist for the Daily Mail runs against Jeremy Hunt for the leadership of the Conservative Party It’s a hard battle but Boris is backed by Brexiters and wins the Conservative Party election. Multiple Brexit votes go into place, none of them pass and Boris’s minority government is failing Boris is left with the only position to suspend parliament which leads to critical backlash from the media and MPs even within his own party.
Preface
Boris decides to the only possible solution which won’t lead backlash as it gives an opportunity to all, a snap election Boris is up against Jeremy Corbyn, a socialist who has had mixed fews about Brexit and a weaker player in politics who has gone up against Theresa May in the 2017 election. Rising up from the depth of the European Parliament is MEP Nigel Farage, former UKIP leader and now leader of the Brexit Party Farage hits it in the polls which dangerously threatens to tarnish the reputation of right wing parties in British politics and reduce the number of Conservative seats Threatened by this, Boris Johnson makes an electoral pact with the Brexit Party in return that some of their policies being included in the Conservative Party manifesto It’s Christmas time, election day 2019, Boris Johnson secured over 350 seats in the House of Commons, Jeremy Corbyn, a mere 230 seats. This leads to the immediate resignation of Corbyn.
2020
It’s the 31st of January 2020, 11pm and Downing Street is in party mode. After 4 years since the Brexit vote, Britain withdraws from the European Union officially leaving the start of a very large downfall
booze and success. In the eyes of Boris Johnson, there is no problem.
It’s March 2020, the WHO (World Health Organisation) has declared a global health emergency with COVID-19. Boris Johnson, on the night of the 23rd of March, has declared the first British lockdown in regards to COVID-19 and development immediately of a vaccine against the virus.
2021
It’s been 2 years, it’s the end of 2021, Covid 19 has begun to slow down and decline in cases due to the new vaccine. It’s back to booze and parties for the Conservative Party and in Downing Street Multiple videos leak online of Boris Johnson partying with his staff members at the Conservative Party headquarters and Downing Street itself
It’s your standard Wednesday, coffee, work, school, but for Parliament it’s chatter and chaos. The word has spread around Parliament and Keir Starmer, Leader of the Opposition and Labour Leader, is in outrage. Boris tries to dodge every question possible about the parties leaving parties in outrage
In December of 2019, a virus in Wuhan, China has been discovered and is spreading rapidly The first few cases in Britain have been detected, but everyone is too distracted by
It’s July, multiple scandals which will not be mentioned in this article have been released to the public and Boris resigns from his position as Leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This immediately triggers a Conservative Party election
“I am a fighter, not a quitter”Elizabeth Truss,
2022
Its August, the results are in Liz Truss is formally elected Leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
September 7th, 2022 Liz Truss visits Balmoral Castle and is officially sworn in as Prime Minister and later heads down to London.
It’s September 20th 2022. Liz Truss is eager to re-open the government and reset her manifesto commitments on a mini budget for post Covid tax She and her Chancellor are at work for the next couple of days regarding the mini budget
September 23rd, 2022 Liz Truss unveils the mini budget with major concerns from the Bank of England and now Canadian Prime Minister, formerly the Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, failing to lay out the mini budget and roll out the taxes correctly
It’s October, multiple members of the Truss cabinet resigned including Braverman and Kwarteng Britain is in outrage, and guess what?
“I am a fighter, not a quitter ” “I am resigning.”
Two very famous quotes from Liz Truss which were put together in embarrassment.
It’s a new week and the Conservatives are in crisis. They’ve selected the second place to the election, Rishi Sunak. The majority of the resigned or fired cabinet have been brought back with a switch around of the Chancellor of the Exchequer who is now Jeremy Hunt.
It’s been almost 2 years since Sunak was appointed Prime Minister and the public’s anger is stretching.
In May 2024, Rishi Sunak made a decisive decision to call a general election for July 4th Many believe that this was caused by a super injunction regarding British intelligence in Afghanistan was in the process of being leaked, which then leaked a year later led to Sunak calling an election.
Election Run-up
May 24th 2024, Nigel Farage reenters politics to give his views and support to the Reform (Brexit party). A week later he decides to become the leader of the party and stand for election for one of the most deprived places in the UK, Clacton-Upon-Sea
It’s July 4th and there’s been some hard-core campaigning for this election.
Exit polls have been released with a prediction of Sir Keir Starmer, leader of the Labour Party, on track to lead the next government (411 seats) The newly
formed Reform Party performs one of the strongest within the electorate by number of votes, not by number of seats (5 seats) Ed Davey has an astonishing 70 seats, highest in the Liberal Democrat’s history Finally, the Conservative have a historic loss with 121 seats
The country’s oldest political party and the world’s second oldest political party is now threatened with its existence
But why on earth is politics changing?
5 years ago, we lived in a two party electoral wins and now we have the biggest difference in voter share in history There’s no saying who will win the 2029 election and it’s so unpredictable to anyone On one side we have large taxation and on the other we have lower spending which threatens the most of public service.
Many of you may say you support a political party such as Reform or Labour even though you ’ re not able to vote, but do you actually know their policies?
It’s a scary system we ’ re living in and our future is at stake, especially with the growth of artificial intelligence and the influence of social media
Take an interest in politics – it really matters to your everyday life.

Oasis is back after their first album in 1994 (31 years ago)! Grab your popcorn and (Randor fizz) and sit back and relax to learn all about OASIS live ’25 ...
Oasis announced their reunion tour on August 27 2024 and after that the world was on their feet waiting for the 14 September 2024. When tickets were released people were logging into dozens of Ticket Master account at 9:00 am and unsurprisingly, Ticket Master crashed! Again people were desperate for tickets and were selling them for thousands online. Just hours after tickets went live every gig was sold out-this is a quote from Noel Gallagher: ‘Do not buy tickets from resellers we are trying to take them off the market and will be put on to the appropriate website.’ Oasis were very smart about how they sold the tickets (unlike Ticketmaster) and about one month later they set a ballot for a second wave of tickets and then tickets they were releasing tickets for all over Europe, America, Australia, Argentina, Chile, and all over Africa.
So now lets skip to the 1 July 2025 only 4 DAYS until Oasis at Cardiff at the Principality Stadium and OASIS WERE THE HEADLINE!!!!!!! Their Reunion Tour is in every magazine, every newspaper and every News TV show in the country and the WORLD!!!!!! You couldn’t miss them and what everybody wants to know is who of Oasis will be touring and whether anyone from their bands will be in the Oasis Live 25 tour?
(I have nothing against TicketMaster there just very slow)
And Cardiff was a blast-video’s on YouTube after 2 brilliant nights in Cardiff the band came back into England and their hometown Manchester for 4 nights and Heaton Park was the destination. Fans were hyped, for the Manchester Band were home! It was clearly the main venue even though they are 4 of 41 - that is the one fans wanted to go and see. After more successful gigs in London, Edinburgh, all over America and Australia
