My Happy Mind My Happy Mind
We have now moved on to the final module of the year in our My Happy Mind
Program.
The "Engage" module focuses on bringing together all the learning from previous modules, specifically emphasizing goal setting and perseverance. It encourages children to apply their knowledge and skills to real-life situations, both in and out of school. This module incorporates self-reflection and opportunities to connect learning to broader school curriculum. The myHappymind Parent App supports parents in reinforcing the learning at home too!
Tameside Music Service Tameside Music Service
This morning, we were delighted to welcome Adrienne from the Tameside Music Team into school. She led a wonderful whole-school assembly where she introduced us to the world of string instruments and treated us to some beautiful live music. Following the assembly, Adrienne worked with our Year 1 and Year 2 children, giving them the exciting opportunity to learn more about string instruments and even have a go at playing some themselves! It was a fantastic experience that inspired lots of curiosity and enthusiasm. If your child is interested in learning to play a string instrument, please keep an eye out for a flyer coming home soon with more information.

We had an awards packed Celebration Praise assembly this week with our pupils sharing their sporting achievements with the rest of the school.
We had numerous football awards, for both boys and girls as well as swimming and dancing.

Just a reminder that our annual Arts Week is coming up week beginning the 7th July. All children are invited to dress up on the Monday with the theme: The Circus. The Summer Fair will take place on Friday 11th July. We would love to see you there!
