The children had a fantastic time working with Freddie Fit this week! They kicked off the morning with an energetic session on the playground, getting their hearts pumping and their bodies moving with smiles all around. Throughout the day, they took part in exciting workshops where they learned just how important it is to keep both their bodies and minds healthy. From fun fitness challenges to team games, the children embraced every activity with enthusiasm and showed great teamwork and determination. It was a brilliant day full of energy, learning, and laughter!

Sports Day Sports Day

What a fantastic Sports Day we had today! The playground was filled with energy, excitement, and brilliant team spirit as the children competed in a variety of fun events. From sprints to javelin, every child gave their best effort and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and so much encouragement between teammates. A huge well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and a big thank you to all the staff and spectators for helping to make the day such a spectacular success!

Girls Football Girls Football

On Tuesday we had Rob and Lewis from the Ella Toon Foundation come into school to lead and assembly and run a football session with girls from Year 5 and 6. The Ella Toon Foundation aims to empower young female players, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to excel in the sport, both on and off the pitch. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and it really inspired some of our players!

Run or walk a mile Run or walk a mile

This week each class was set the challenge of either walking or running a mile around school to get our heart pumping and blood racing round our bodies. The children thoroughly enjoyed it, with some of our older pupils running over two miles and even asking to do it again the next day!
