Consultation Evening a Great Success! We held our public consultation evening at The Burlington pub on Monday 8 May 2017. Over 300 visitors attended the event to meet with senior staff of The Fylde Coast Academy Trust to find out more about the developments of this exciting planned school in South Shore for youngsters aged 2-16 years old. This event was part of the statutory consultation process that we must undertake before opening of our academy in September 2018. We would like as many of the local community as possible to let us know what they think of our plans. You can do this by completing a questionnaire on our website:
Our Executive Principal Chris Lickiss, formerly Principal at Unity Academy, Blackpool will be taking the helm at the new academy. Chris said that he felt honoured to have the opportunity to be the first Principal of Armfield Academy. He said, “I am determined to ensure that our school immediately delivers at the highest level and that through high aspirations and expectations, strong discipline underpinned by traditional British values we will achieve excellent outcomes for all our students.
