DANIELLE BERRY
(Production Stage Manager) Danielle works as SCERA’s Production Manager and Administrative Assistant, and has stage managed more shows than she can count. A favorite experience was stage managing three shows at the 2018 Edinburgh, Scotland Fringe Festival. “Thanks to the cast and production team who remind me why I love this crazy world of theater, and the biggest thank you to my friends and family for supporting me in what I love to do.”
GABRIELLA DROUBAY
(Julia / Pig #2) Gabriella is so excited to be performing at SCERA again! She is currently getting a degree in Theatre Education at UVU so being able to do a show for kids at her favorite theatre is a very fun opportunity. She is also very happy to be working with Brodee and Kathryn and would like to thank them for the opportunity!
CHASE ELISON
(Lighting Designer / Audio Engineer) Chase has been involved in theatre since he was 11 in SCERA’s Oliver. At age 15, he began working at the Lehi Arts Center, and he currently serves as SCERA’s Sound and Lighting Manager, where he has designed lighting for many of SCERA’s Theatre for Young Audiences productions. “I dedicate my work to my grandparents Jerry & Barbara. They introduced me to theatre and music at a young age. My grandma taught me piano for many years, and I had the honor of working with my grandpa for several productions here at SCERA. Love and miss you guys, ‘Ya done good!’”
ETHAN HARRISON
(Scenic Designer / Scene Shop Manager) Ethan has been building sets and working backstage at SCERA since 2022, and has proudly worked on every single show since. He has always been inspired by the creativity of SCERA's sets, especially on the outdoor stage so is excited to be building them himself. His love for set construction has been strengthened by his family who have all built many sets alongside him. He is grateful for his Pops and Mrs. Wygant for teaching him the craft as well as his SCERA tech family for their support and camaraderie! "The real credit goes to my amazing staff! You guys all rock!"
NOAH HINCKLEY
(Alexander T. Wolf) Noah is thrilled to be on the SCERA stage as the Big Bad Wolf! He’s grateful for the wonderful support this community gives to the arts and for the incredible cast and crew who made this production such a joy. Some of his favorite past roles include Spot Conlon in Newsies at the SCERA Shell and Donkey in Shrek at SCERA. Noah is excited for whatever adventures come next and is deeply thankful for every opportunity he’s had along the way.
KATHRYN LAYCOCK

In her role as actress, Kathryn has performed professionally in leading roles Off-Broadway as a charter member of the Manhattan Theater Ensemble, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, both the Capitol Theater and Abravanel Hall in SLC, Robert Redford’s

Sundance Theater, both Hale Center Theaters, and SCERA. She has been a guest artist with the Tabernacle Choir, Utah Valley Symphony, Utah Valley Chorale, BYU’s Synthesis and Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as many other professional concert performances. You may have heard or seen her as the narrator and soloist for numerous television and radio commercials, films, recorded books (over 60 books for Covenant Communications), and musical recordings. Kathryn has directed and musically directed many shows throughout Utah Valley and the Salt Lake City area. For the past 31 years, she and her husband Howard have been the Resident Artistic Directors for the PG Players in Pleasant Grove. She was the director for the 200 member choir event Christmas in the Grove for 25 years, and has been a professional voice teacher for 45 years. In fear of getting bored, 14 years ago Kathryn became the director for SCERA’s national award-winning high school company Acting Up! She gives full credit and thanks to her wonderful family, both in heaven and here on earth, as well as incredible friends and colleagues for their love, patience and support. "It takes a village to make pretty much anything worth doing happen!”
EMILY NEBEKER
(Rocky / Dr. Robert / Martha / Maxwell / Pig #3) Emily is tickled pink to trot onto the stage in front of her favorite type of audience! She performs regularly for people of small stature, usually playing such roles as “Mom with Snacks,”“Woman Trying to Prevent Another Trip to the ER,” and "Cuddle Buddy Who Scares Away the Bad Guys.” She’s honored to work alongside such a hog wild team of people! “Hogs bless!”
BRODEE RIPPLE
( Director / Choreographer)
Brodee is SO excited to get to create such a fun show at one of his favorite theatres. When not working on a show, Brodee is the Rentals and Special Events Coordinator for SCERA, as well as the assistant director / choreographer for SCERA's national award
winning high school company Acting Up! Most recently, he directed Disney’s Newsies at the SCERA Shell this past summer, and SCERA’s TYA production of The Cat in the Hat. He has been seen performing in productions at SCERA, both Hale Centre Theatres, Lehi Arts Center, Pleasant Grove Players, Sundance, and The Historic Jackson Hole Playhouse. Some favorite performing credits include Benjamin in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me. Brodee adores this cast and the wonderful production team he gets to create with and call his friends. Huge thanks to this cast for being willing to play together, his SCERA family, and his real family; especially his Mom. “This one's for you Pops.”
KELSEY SEAVER
(Costume Designer)
Kelsey has been involved with SCERA for the past 18 years in costumes and is currently the Costume Shop Manager. Some of her most recent SCERA designs are The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, The Cat in the Hat, Bright Star and The Little Mermaid. She is so thankful for her family’s support. Much love to her three kiddos and awesome husband.
OPAL TOLMAN
(Props Designer / Prop Shop Manager) Opal is so excited to be returning as part of the SCERA Family! After having worked both behind the scenes and on stage in many of SCERA’s previous productions, Opal stepped into the role of props/scenic designer for several local theater companies, and truly fell in love with the artistry and storytelling of the design process. “SCERA has given me so much over the years, and I feel overwhelmingly grateful for the chance to give back in this new role. SYDNEY WEIGHT
(Lillian Magill) Sydney is so excited to be a part of another SCERA TYA show this year! Her most recent SCERA appearances were in The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley TYA (Samantha, Hollywood Agent, etc.) in 2023 and in Newsies (Ike) at the SCERA Shell this past summer. She is currently attending UVU as a major in Theatre Arts. Sydney wants to thank the cast and, most importantly, the crew and directing team that

(Prudence / Pig #1) Candace loves SCERA and its programs - she is so excited to perform at SCERA again! Candace has been performing in theatre since Kindergarten and has loved being in productions throughout her life. Her most recent roles include Bellomy in The Fantasticks (PG Players) and Smee in Peter Pan (SCERA). She is so grateful for the support of her loving husband, family and friends!
