Augenweide is not a typical bridal fashion store; that is something that already becomes clear when looking at the interior and the atmosphere. But this is even more so due to the service; customers should and can feel comfortable and like themselves – without compromise – when choosing the dress. Anyone who wears a larger size or is smaller than average, for example, will recall many a nightmare shopping experience, and many bridal stores don’t even have the right dress sizes for them to try on. get a made-to-measure dress according to their individual needs and wishes. “It is important that every bride gets the dress she really wants. The same is true for evening dresses,” says co-founder and manager Lana Paustian. Early on, Lana developed a sense for fashion, and can now look back on three decades of sales experience. Her customers today profit from precisely that experience. Often enough, brides come to the store with a picture or a rough idea and can then at first try on some dresses to get a feeling of which
cut will fit them. “This way, we develop a basis: form, volume and neckline,” says Lana. “Then we’ll try fabrics.” The shop has some samples to check out in this instance, too. “But above all, we try it out by using the available dresses.” A designer will then work with the bride to make some drafts until the perfect dress is found – no matter if white or in colour, with lace or pearls, or even a dress a bride has only ever seen in her dreams. “One also doesn’t have to be afraid of the prices,” says Lana. “We can adjust to every budget.” The cheapest model starts at 1,300 Euros and for this, brides will get a unique dress that nobody else has. Veils are also individually made and can be embroidered, too, for example. Brides should plan with three to five months to get their perfect dress, advises Lana. www.augenweide-lana.de
