L egal Update: As a result of leaving the EU, the UK has both the responsibility and the opportunity to overhaul the current public procurement regulations (PCR2015) which govern all procurement carried out. There are currently over 350 different procurement regulations spread over a number of different regimes for different types of procurement and the new Procurement Bill will consolidate these regime's into one single regime which will be quicker, simplified and better meet the needs of the UK. It will essentially be based on value for money, competition, and objective criteria in decision -making. Hill Dickinson have provided training on updates and further Procurement training will be provided in the next 6-12 months to ensure Trust compliance.
