EPR NEWSLETTER
14 WEEKS TO GO Are you ready?
Issue 2
Welcome to the second edition of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme newsletter. The countdown has officially started. We have 14 weeks to go until our SemaHelix switch-off on Friday 19 April, and the introduction of CareFlow on Sunday 21 April. This will also mark the completion of phase 1 and sets the necessary foundations for more exciting changes that will improve care for our patients. Our fantastic Change Agents and EPR team are here to help if you need it. Any questions, ideas and suggestions, please let us know, so we can get you the support you need. A big thank you to everyone involved so far and to everyone who has completed their training, as we know how hard it is to balance exciting transformation alongside the delivery of day-to-day priorities. Training available Anyone who uses SemaHelix, PSAG or contributes to paper records in our Emergency Departments (ED) will be affected. You must book and complete the relevant training as soon as possible. Don't leave it until March, as we can't train over 5,000 people in a matter of weeks. There are multiple ways to complete your training via MS Teams, face-to-face or through LMS e-learning. A big thank you to all our colleagues who have completed their training so far. We have achieved 38% compliance. Please complete all relevant training modules which will be on your LMS learning section. Tailored face-to-face training sessions are another way to update your knowledge. It’s convenient for you and your team as you can select a time and place that fits around you. The sessions are personalised and if you are waiting for a module or topic to be released, you can arrange for this to be completed with your trainer. To arrange a session, please email sath.ittrainingteam@nhs.net.
