Welcome to the 12th edition of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme newsletter. With less than a month before Go Live weekend, the digital team were out and about last week, at both sites, to answer all your questions. We had some really good questions and feedback, and felt really encouraged that so many of you are ready ahead of time for phase 1 of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. One of the most important things right now is to freeze all non-essential clinic changes to enable smooth migration of data. You can read more details here.

Retrospective data entry One of the big focus points before Go Live weekend, is on up-to-date data entry. All data needs to be updated on SemaHelix before Go Live to enable migration on to CareFlow. Congratulations to the Cardiorespiratory team across both sites, who have made a massive effort to catch up on their activity entry. Lainey Thorne, Assistant Operations Manager said: ‘This was a team effort involving colleagues from lots of different departments, we all worked really hard to get through all the records to make sure we were ready.’ Thank you to Lainey Thorne, Jess Bebb, Hayley Carpenter, Kamiljit Bhakar, Nina Beadle, Tracey Roberts, Zoey Roberts, Debbie Powell, Shane Breeze, Abbey Milner

Have you completed your training? Our current overall training compliance is at 77.6%. Some divisions are very close to achieving our target for the end of March which is 86%. If you have not yet completed your training on LMS, please do not leave it any later. After completing your training, you can access the CareFlow sandpit environment to test out the system in your own time. If you don’t have access the LMS, you can find out more details about training here. This week will be the last week of doctor’s training. Any remaining doctors and consultants who have not completed the Clinician Overview module, should make sure to attend. If you completed your training before Thursday 1 February, you are required to attend a refresher training course, these can be booked via LMS.

If you haven’t completed your training, you will not have access to the new systems at Go Live. sath.ittrainingteam@nhs.net.
