10.1 The board of Samfunnet
Head of Bodega
Running for election:
✔ Snorre Moberg
Presentation of Snorre Moberg
Ærede generalforsamling! My name is Snorre Langeland Moberg, and i hereby apply for the role of Bodegasjef for Samfunnet!
I come from Eidsberg in indre Østfold, and I am studying my 4 th year as a science teacher. I spend my free time with the student-choir: “Mannskoret Over Rævne”, where I have partaken since 2022. In the autumn of 2023 I joined the ordensvernkomiteen, and there I have been since. Spring of 2024 I became Vaktansvarlig and thereafter komitesjef for the committee, a role I will keep having until new-years. Now that I am almost done being komitesjef, I am looking for new challenges. I want to use my experience to further push the good work of Bodegablokka.
I know the department consists of a unique group of people, grown from tradition, values and voluntary work. The most important thing to do is taking care of our volunteers, so that their positivity can rub off on our guests.
The first priority of the Bodegasjef should be safety. The safety of our volunteers, and the safety of our guests. If we manage keep the safety as our foundation, we can work with opportunities instead of limitations. If the department keeps up with the work it has been doing, and nourishes the knowledge and experience of our komitesjefer, this can be a great resource for Studentsamfunnet.
Dear Thorvald and Tora, Ola and Kari, Trym and Tonje. I hope to gain your trust, and that you give me the opportunity to do work on your behalf!
A great choice!
Yours sincerely, Snorre

Head of Administration
Running for election:
✔ Mathilde Buttedahl
Presentation of Mathilde Buttedahl
Honourable General Assembly!
My name is Mathilde Buttedahl, I am in my third year of International Environment- and Development Studies, and I’m 22 years old. I have a strong passion for Samfunnet i Ås and now that I know I’ll be staying here for my master’s degree, I’m honestly terrified that next year will be too quiet, and that I might actually have to study full-time. Therefore, I hereby wish to run for election as the Administrative Leader at Studentsamfunnet in Ås.
When I came to Ås, I quickly joined an association and became translator in Tuntreet, which gave me invaluable experiences and social bonds. Among other things, I discovered that I actually like administrative work! I thrive the most either in front of my computer doing planning work or in meetings with passionate people. I was SC Urpremiere for UKA i Ås 2024 which gave me brand new experiences with arranging, and working on, big events, in addition to working with other passionate students in a bigger organisation. Later I also joined Sprell, which sparked my enthusiasm for getting others involved at Samfunnet. I have quickly realised how important Studentsamfunnet is for the well-being, engagement, and community that defines student life in Ås. And how rewarding it is to meet passionate people with good ideas and input!
One of the most important tasks of Studentsamfunnet, in my view, is to ensure the students feel heard. The Administration Unit serves as an important link between Samfunnet and its members, and it is therefore important to maintain trust that feedback is taken seriously. This is something I will continue to prioritise if elected. I am not afraid to put in the effort to get things done and always give my all once I commit to something. I will also work for making Studentsamfunnet, as an organisation, even more open so that Tora and Thorvald are left with the impression that Studentsamfunnet is an easy organisation to deal with. This means also including the international students and setting clear expectations for how to do this;
both organisationally and in everyday life at Samfunnet.
I wish you all a good election!
Kind regards, Mathilde Buttedahl

Head of Finance 10.2 Tuntreet
Running for election:
✔ Henrikke Emilia Ellewsen
Presentation of Henrikke Emilia Ellewsen
Honourable General Assembly,
My name is Henrikke Emilia Ellewsen and I’m running to be the next Editor in Tuntreet. I’m 23 years old and just started my first year of my Master’s in International Relations. Since my Bachelor’s here, I’ve been involved in various positions that I have loved being part of and have also taught me a lot. From being Buddy Leader for Landsam to KS positions at both Samfunnet and Tuntreet.
I joined the editorial staff of Tuntreet in summer 2024, as Head of Translations without much past experience. In this position I’m in charge of putting together the English editions of our beloved student paper. As someone who grew up abroad and multilingual, translating was not much of an issue and was a way to learn the Norwegian language better. As Head of Translations however, I haven’t just been responsible for translating our paper alongside the rest of the translation committee, I’ve also had to learn other skills that ensure the English edition is ready for publishing every single three weeks. I’ve developed strong organisational skills, a high sense for details and the ability to solve problems under pressure. This position has been wonderful but now I’m running for editor as I’d love to have the opportunity to contribute even more and in different ways than I’ve done so far.
Having worked together so closely with those in our editorial staff, I’m not just aware of all the work it takes to put the paper together, I’m also immensely appreciative off everyone who is contributing to it. The journalists’ voices might be the most prominent in our paper, but Tuntreet is a place for all students at NMBU. This student paper is a documentation of our community: it allows for on- and off-campus discussions, creativity and for us to
exchange our knowledge and ideas. It offers something to everyone; whether those are the Game Pages, Rotskudd, reviews or anything to do with our little Ås-bubble. Tuntreet isn’t just a paper with its staff behind it, it allows for many interactions all over campus, in which I wish for everyone to be cared for and feel included.
Through my different voluntary positions, I have proved to be organised, communicative and most importantly reliable. I believe that those qualities and my experience as Head of Translation for Tuntreet make me suited to be a good editor. I hope you have the same trust in me and give me the honour of being your next editor.
Good luck with the election!
Kind regards,
Henrikke Emilia Ellewsen

10.3 The Business Commitee
Running for election:
Leader
✔ Vasilii Anderson
✔ Peder Flaat
Presentation of Vasilii Anderson
Dear General Assembly,
My name is Vasilii Anderson, I am 22 years old and come from Vestby. I am currently in my fourth year of Industrial Economics, and I wish to present my candidacy for the position of Chair of the Business Committee at NMBU.
During my time as a student at Ås, I have been involved in several different organizations and roles. I have served as the Head of Finance and Sponsorship for the Energy Seminar, as well as Chair of the Vektor Program at NMBU. These positions have given me valuable experience in planning, financial management, teamwork, and leadership, and have taught me the importance of good communication and structure. Through these roles, I have also developed my leadership skills and learned how to create a wellfunctioning and motivated team that works purposefully toward strong results.
Through both my studies and my extracurricular involvement, I have seen how important the connection between students and industry truly is. In my opinion, the Business Committee plays a crucial role in building this bridge by organizing company presentations, career days, and networking events that provide students with a realistic insight into professional life. This is work I wish to continue and further develop.
I have always been impressed by the dedication of the many volunteers who run Samfunnet in Ås and its associated organizations, working hard to ensure the best possible experience for students. As someone who benefits greatly from these
opportunities myself, I now wish to give something back to help maintain and further improve the high standard that has already been set.
As Chair, I aim to ensure that the Business Committee continues to be a professional and inclusive arena where students gain real value and meaningful experiences. I will focus on strengthening cooperation between student associations, companies, and Samfunnet, while also ensuring that everyone in the committee thrives and benefits from their work.
I have great respect for the work the Business Committee does, and I now wish to use my experience, energy, and enthusiasm to lead the committee forward. I hope you will place your trust in me as the next Chair of the Business Committee at NMBU for the coming term.
Thank you for your attention, and best of luck with the election!
Kind regards, Vasilii Anderson

Sponsorship Coordinator
Running for election:
✔ Petter Harkinn
Presentation of Petter Harkinn
Honorable General Assembly, My name is Petter Harkinn, I am from Furnes just outside Hamar, and I am 21 years old. For the upcoming General Assembly, I am running for the position of Sponsorship Manager in Næringslivsutvalget at NMBU. I am a second-year student in Industrial Economics.
I am running for this position because I want to contribute more to the volunteer community at Samfunnet i Ås and take on more responsibility than I have previously. After a year as a volunteer, serving as deputy bar manager (NK-Bar) during Uka i Ås 2024, Bar Manager at Samfunnet, and currently as a Sponsorship Assistant in Næringslivsutvalget. I have experienced how rewarding it is to be part of such a dedicated community. The work in the sponsorship team has inspired me to take the next step. Becoming Sponsorship Manager feels like a natural progression where I can further develop the skills I have already gained.
What appeals to me most about this position is the responsibility that comes with it, as well as the opportunity to collaborate and negotiate with businesses to secure the best possible agreements for Samfunnet. I aim to maintain the strong partnerships we already have, while also establishing new ones. For me, it is also essential to put a strong emphasis on communication, internally in æringslivsutvalget, with the other parts of Samfunnet i Ås, and with external partners. I firmly believe that strong relationships and clear communication are key to building successful longterm collaborations.
My previous experience from Samfunnet, Uka i Ås, and especially from the Business Committee, provides me with a solid foundation to take on this role and perform it well. I am highly motivated to contribute to the continued development of the Business Committee.
Thank you for your attention, and I wish you all a good election.
Kind regards, Petter
Harkinn

Head of Marketing
Running for election:
✔ Elise Velund
Presentation of Elise Velund
Honorable General Assembly,
My name is Elise Velund, I am 20 years old and come from Asker. I am currently in my second year of Industrial Economics. I wish to become more involved in the student community and make my time here at Ås more meaningful. I want to challenge myself by taking on responsibility, while also contributing to a closer connection between students and the business community. With that, I hereby announce my candidacy for the position of Marketing Manager in the Næringslivsutvalget (NU) at NMBU.
I am currently the Head of Marketing in WIC –Women’s Investment Club NMBU, where I have gained valuable experience in marketing. This position has taught me a lot about planning, organization, and communication. I really enjoy working with outreach and digital tools, which is why I believe the role of Marketing Manager in NU would be a great fit for me.
I am good at combining creativity with structure, and I am a person who values order and organization. I am responsible, goal-oriented, and hardworking, and I have always been dedicated to doing every task I take on thoroughly. In addition, I enjoy working with others and am motivated by collaborating as a team toward shared goals.
As Marketing Manager in NU, I want to contribute to strengthening the relationship between NMBU students and the business sector, while also increasing NU’s visibility among students. I am also eager to continue developing my skills within marketing and communication. I see this position as an opportunity to learn more about how to build and present a professional and recognizable organizational profile. At the same time, I want to help more students discover the opportunities that Næringslivsutvalget offers. I am highly motivated to contribute and will do my very best if given the opportunity to serve as Marketing Manager.
Wishing all students a good election!

10.4 The Board of House and Finance
External Representative x2
Running for election:
✔ Erik Lunde Sand
✔ Tord Kristian F. Andersen
Presentation of Erik Lunde Sand
Honorable General Assembly,
my name is Erik Lunde Sand, and I hereby run for External Representative in Hus- og Finansstyret. I graduated from Ås in 2021, after a five-year master's degree in Geomatics, and have had a seat on Hus- og Finansstyret since the fall of 2021. I currently live in Drøbak, and work in Oslo. With four years on the board, and five years as a member, committee member, KS and board member of the Samfunnsstyret, I have a lot of experience and history that I can contribute.
Studentsamfunnet has worked up a significant surplus, which I have helped to manage smartly, through sustainable funds and Fixrate. This is something we should continue with, even though the best management is upgrades to the building stock. The building is old, and it will require good plans to upgrade it according to prioritized needs. When the bill comes for the Festsalen and Rosehagen, we will see how much we have to spend to bring the rooms up to a better standard. I will continue to work on developing this, with good planning and prioritization of funds and rooms in consultation with current students, NMBU and SiÅs.
With 3 years as chair and 1 year as deputy chair of Hus- og Finansstyret, I have gained a lot of experience in the proceedings, and what engages and moves the operating boards. This is useful, as as an External Representative you also act as a kind of advisor to today's students. This is what has been my greatest motivation in working with Studentsamfunnet after finishing my studies. To help committed students achieve the good solutions and proposals that are possible at the Studentsamfunnet. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this fall's General Assembly, which I believe is the first since I started in 2016. I hope for the trust to continue.
Good choice!

Presentation of Tord Kristian F. Andersen
Honorable General Assembly!!
My name is Tord Kristian F. Andersen, and I hereby stand for election as an external representative on the Board of House and Finance. My connection to Studentsamfunnet Ås has been more or less synonymous with my time as a student, and the commitment has been constant - even after I graduated in the fall of 2024. I started as a journalist and photographer for Tuntreet in August 2018, which I stayed in for 13 semesters. As a journalist, I have had an invaluable opportunity to investigate and ask challenging questions to the organization, partners, and the processes in them. In 2021, I also had the pleasure of being editor, and through this I have already sat on the Board of House and Finance as Tuntreet's representative. In other words, I have first-hand knowledge of the work and meeting activities, from the inside and the outside. In addition to this, I have been a head of committee for UKA i Ås in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
Furthermore, I am working to ensure that the archive of Samfunnet is protected and preserved for the foreseeable future, something I was formally hired for in a committee position this spring. I have a particulary great interest in the history of Studentsamfunnet i Ås, something that I have tried to convey through historical columns in Tuntreet and the UKEdocumentary that I directed. In addition to talking to primary sources, I have read everything from letter correspondence from the early 1900s, meeting minutes from the 1950s, GA protocols from the 1980s, to all modern GA case papers made available digitally. I have noticed the extent to which the organizational structure has changed over time, especially in recent years – something I want to continue to advise the boards on.
Although the Board of House and Finance is described during its modern creation in 2011 as, among other things, Studentsamfunnet i Ås’s memory, I am also eagerly looking to the future. Between 2022 and 2023, I was a member of the Pluto-7 commission with a mandate from the Board of House and Finance. Here I was involved in revising the long-term strategy towards 2025 and preparing a new long-term strategy towards 2035. I took a special responsibility for ensuring that students had the opportunity to give input and be familiar with the work that was done.
As an external representative, I will still be interested in what the students have to say.
I will therefore work for greater visibility for the work of the Board of House and Finance, also outside the general assemblies. It is important to me that the members of Studentsamfunnet i Ås have a direct connection, not only to their own positions, but to the organization as a whole. I therefore see added value in making it easier to gain access to tentative meeting dates and case overviews where there are no special reasons to avoid this, such as personnel matters and agreements under development.
I am ready to do my best for the house, and to ensure responsible and long-term management of the organization's funds for the best interests of its members.
Happy voting

10.5 Election Commitee
Member x 2
Running for election:
✔ Karoline Lindland Torgrimsen
Presentation of Karoline Lindland Torgrimsen
Honourable General Assembly!
My name is Karoline Lindland Torgrimsen, I am 21 years old and currently in my first year of studying Geoinformatics. As a new student at NMBU, I have not yet had the opportunity to take on other positions, but I am eager to become actively involved in the student community.
When I was told that I had been nominated for the Election Committee, I was genuinely pleased. I really enjoy spending time at Samfundet and have grown very fond of it during my short time here. I see this as a great opportunity to contribute while also gaining a deeper understanding of how Samfundet operates and how the different positions are connected.
I would describe myself as a positive, cheerful, and approachable person who likes to do things thoroughly. I do not take on tasks unless I know I have the time and capacity to complete them properly, and I am not afraid to face challenging situations when needed.
My motivation for standing for the Election Committee is the desire to contribute to an inclusive and well-functioning student democracy. I want to learn more, while also using my enthusiasm to make a positive impact on Samfundet. As a first-year student, I see this as an opportunity to lay the foundation for continued involvement in the years to come.
Best of luck with the election!
Kind regards,
Karoline Lindland Torgrimsen
