“Your health is indeed your wealth”! Cliché you think? You may not be convinced of this unless you have been truly sick and know what it is like to feel totally helpless and all you want in the world is to feel better. I recently had major surgery and my recovery was a lot slower than I anticipated it would be. In my moments of recovery, I remember how much I thought about life and how nothing else really mattered more than getting well.

When I was gifted a Platinum Gift Certificate from Salus Medical and Wellness Clinic I was beyond moved. I felt it was not only very thoughtful but extremely timely. I was not sure what to expect but I remained open minded.

My experience, though still ongoing, has been very rewarding thus far. For me, good health starts with a conditioning of the mind. I was certainly reminded of this on my first visit. I needed to decide that I wanted to be in better health and to position myself for the journey.

When I was told I would receive a full body medical examination and analysis to begin with, I did not think much of it. When this was done however, it blew my mind. The non-evasive procedure took about 30 minutes and was able to tell me EVERYTHING that needed attention in my body. Listen, the reading told me of my sins past and sins to come yes! When I tell you EVERYTHING…I MEAN EVERYTHING! Every bacteria, infection, present injury, past injury, it was simply amazing to get such an in depth reading of my body. I would encourage people to get this testing done. Nothing beats KNOWING. Only then can you actively take steps to correct the issues. After receiving the results that blew me away. The means of addressing were also attained based directly on all the issues. The guidance in Wellness allows me to know exactly what path to take removing all guess work towards solutions. I know exactly what my body needs on this journey and with the expertise of objective science results, complimented with expertise of the health care professionals at Salus Medical and Wellness Clinic, I feel confident to continue this journey towards restoration, with includes, but not exclusive to, Nutrition, Exercise, Stress management, Toxicological therapy and the like.

This is the uniqueness and sets it apart, as it incorporates several medical modules of conventional and alternative medicine.

Nicole Allsop walked me through every step. No short cuts! She is very thorough. I appreciate her attention to detail. Even when I had to go to the pharmacy to purchase certain things, she stayed on the phone with me. She had me send pictures of the bottle labels so she could read content to ensure I got the items best suited to treat my condition.

I am looking forward to this journey. I see it as that. It’s no overnight magic. It will take discipline, commitment and work. I am willing!

The modern world has accelerated considerably. Our energy resources and the body's defenses are being depleted. We are forced to function at the limit, constant stress, and only occasional breaks for rest. Of course, this affects our health and emotional state. We do not have time to adapt to this rhythm. Sickness, lack of taste for life and lack of strength; with these problems growing stronger every year, it is almost impossible to handle them independently.

When one feels unwell, standard diagnostic methods ae used such as blood tests, laboratory examinations, ultrasound examinations and the like. These tests may not find any pathology; diseases or ailments. After all, in order for classical methods to detect something, there has to be a clear change in the organ, that is to say a major change. Earlier changes, which may be subtle, may not be detected. These are rapid processes, and thus far no other
