It is the policy of the U.S. to fulfill the Federal Government’s trust relationship with and responsibility to the American Indian people for the education of American Indian and Alaskan Native children.

DESCRIPTION

This program is designed to address the unique cultural, language, and educationally related academic needs of American Indian/Alaskan Native students.

MISSION STATEMENT

We are committed to an education system that supports and empowers AI/AN students, embraces positive native values, and honors and affirms their past, present, and future contributions to our global society.

PROGRAMBENEFITS

• Tutoring for students who need reinforcement in reading, math, or any academic skills

• Quarterly meetings with Coordinator

• Cultural family activities and potlucks

• Financial assistance with academics (determined case by case)

• Provided with information on scholarships, FAFSA, internships, summer camps, and leadership opportunities

• Recognition and honoring of students who are excelling and making academic achievements

• Activities to educate individuals concerning substance abuse, suicide, and mental health issues

Morningand HygieneRoutine

Having a morning and hygiene routine is beneficial because it improves physical and mental health, increases productivity, and fosters a sense of control and well-being. A wellestablished routine helps manage stress, reduces anxiety, and promotes better sleep. Furthermore, hygiene routines are crucial for preventing illness and maintaining social acceptance.

Having an evening routine is beneficial because it can improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and enhance productivity. By establishing a consistent routine, individuals can better regulate their body's natural sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm) and prepare themselves for a restful night's sleep. This can lead to feeling more refreshed and energized in the morning, ready to tackle the day's tasks
