The Quill—Newsletter of Saint Simeon's Senior Community Nov/Dec 2025
Staff Appreciated by Resident Council Recognized
Twyla Johnson, our Social Services Director has instituted a new program recognizing staff who are praised in our monthly Resident Council meetings. The first two people recognized are Bonnie Wilson, of Morrison’s, for her outstanding service to our Healthcare residents and Debra Sallis, CNA for her outstanding service to residents in Memory Care. Thank you, Bonnie and Debra for exemplifying the values of Saint Simeon’s—Patience, Dedication, Humility, Respect, Integrity, Accountability, and Compassion.

Support the Saint Simeon’s Employee Appreciation Christmas Fund
As another year draws to a close, we're reminded of the extraordinary impact our employees have on our residents and families. Working in senior services is more than a job—it's a calling to service, compassion, and advocacy.
Our team members don't just provide care, they create family. From knowing each resident by name to offering comfort during difficult times, our staff exemplifies compassionate care. Their dedication and genuine warmth have earned consistent praise from residents and families, who tell us it's these personal touches that set Saint Simeon's apart.
To thank our 200 remarkable employees, we invite you to contribute to our Employee Appreciation Christmas Fund. These holiday gifts make all the difference to our staff and their families.

Resident Western Days Events
Residents enjoyed a week full of Western Days activities, including a train ride and snacks delivered by Saint Simeon’s Guild Members. The grand finale was a fantastic dinner by Chef Bobby modeled after the dinner served at the Arvest Convention Center to attendees of Western Days.
